Post 16 Options

The government has increased the age to which all young people in England must continue in education or training, requiring them to continue until the end of the academic year in which they turn 17 from 2013 and until their 18th birthday from 2015. Click HERE for more information.

Here at the Academy we are dedicated to supporting our students to make a well informed decision about their post 16 education or training. We deliver careers guidance to students at every key stage and across curriculum areas.

Depending on your preferred post 16 destination you might need to complete a UCAS application. The Academy will provide you with your logon details and provide sessions to help you finalise choices and complete the application.

The following links provide information about your options, what qualifications you will need at KS4 and advice on how to apply (including how to write an application, personal statement etc)

Young people with existing accounts will have to re- register before they can apply for anything. They will however be able to access their application history using their old log in details
