Year 10 trip to York

Last term Miss Vince took her Year 10 EL2 class to York for a day of learning and sightseeing.

The students got the train from Leeds station and travelled to York, where they walked along the city wall whilst enjoying a lovely view of the city.

The first stop on the tour of York was a visit to Clifford's Tower, where the students climbed all the way to the top.

Afterwards they explored the city centre, looking at all of the historic architecture in the city.

The final stop was a visit to the Railway Museum where students got to learn all about the history of the railways. Some even got to go inside some of the trains on display.

It was a long day, but the students really enjoyed visiting the historic city and seeing a different side of what Yorkshire has to offer.
