Ex-pupil Ronaldo Vieira wins Young Player of the Year at Leeds United

We always enjoy hearing about ex-pupils so we were over the moon when we heard that Ronaldo Vieira has been awarded the Young Player of the Year Award from Leeds United.

Ronaldo joined the academy in 2013 fom Bruntcliffe. While at school Ronaldo enjoyed entertaining other with his dancing and sense of humour and his favourite subjects were Business and unsuprisingly PE. After completing his GCSEs, he went on to study at i-2-i Football Academy in York. One of Ronaldo’s memories was the school trip to Holland with the football team – all thanks for Miss GIlpin.

Throughout his inaugural season at Leeds United, playing in the first team, he has shown great passion, determination and ambition, all key characteristics he showed us here!

Ronaldo told us "it takes hard work and discipline to succeed", and we couldn't agree more.
